Great sandwiches, tasty chicken, the real winner is the rocoto mayonnaise and their other sauces though. Cheap too! Service is difficult sometimes, particularly with the language barrier. Often have ordering mistakes when calling in. Get the chicharron sandwich, it is simply amazing!!

Tried the pan con chicharron yesterday - it was fabulous. Tender chunks of pork slathered in red onion, sarza criolla, fried sweet potato, and rocoto mayonnaise. Truly excellent!

The owners of La Canela have done us all a lovely favor by opening this more causal sister down the street. It has the very best Peruvian chicken around, even better than Crisp and Juicy. The sides are what make it even better, as the yucca and other sides are prepared with a light o=touch, and beautifully presented. Great family place, excellent for take-out. Excellent flan - worth the calories.
