So I contacted this business twice (the 2nd time because I lost the initial estimate) the owner, Bob came out the first time and gave us an estimate in which he was very prompt however he was extremely condescending and a bit pompous in his interaction. Fast forward a half a year later we made a call and he prompt calling back but was still condescending, dismissive, arrogant and down right insulting when we mentioned we would consider other contractors due to competitive pricing. I'm sure he does good work but his attitude was a major factor in choosing another contractor who was polite, courteous and also had an impressive portfolio.

Called Home World among others to get a quote to repair a major leak in my roof. Due to the massive amount of rain this year and damage from an errant dead tree limb. I had a sizable leak that caused damage, there was no clear hole, or entry spot. Most companies were so busy, I was stuck in phone tag limbo. Some companies just wanted to replace the entire roof at double the national average.... Happened to come across Home World's headquarters on the way home from work and was glad I did!! Bob the owner greeted me on the phone and right out of the box put me right at ease. He came right out in a flash and up into my attic he went with a dash! After taking a glance he new right what to, and the following day he came back with his crew. My good man your roof vent simply will not do. See it's cracked and damage tar, or glue just will not do! In just an hour, or two, I had a new roof vent installed with end caps too. He placed his finger aside of his nose, and giving a nod, up the chimney he rose. He sprang to his suv, to his team gave a whistle and right away they all cleaned the work site and politely said goodbye. I heard Bob shout out with glee, have a great day if you ever need us just give us a call!! Today the rain back again... Maryland is starting to look like Seattle WA! The one thing that is different for me is my attic, house, and Family are dry!

Couldn't be happier with the service received from Home World. Mr. Bob (the owner) came out personally and gave a quick fair estimate. Work was finished faster than expected and again Mr. Bob was here to make sure that the job was done correctly to his and my satisfaction. Excellent customer service, knowledgeable service, and fair pricing are the reason this company has been around for 40 years.
