This is the place to be,looking at the blue wonderful ocean right from your hotel room,what else can you ask for. Rooms: Nice and clean. Nearby activities: There are lors that are available. Safety: Safe. Walkability: Sure.

Room and furniture was very outdated for price of room. Bathroom extremely small, shower had little water pressure and water barely drained while trying to shower. Very noisy and it was off-season!

First off, the front desk staff NEEDS to be trained in customer service. The young lady who checked us in had absolutely no personality and did not seem to even care about us. I booked a non-smoking room and was assigned a room that REEKED of smoke. When I went back to the front desk to ask for a different room, the gentleman, rather snippy, who I booked the room with. I responded with "on your app". The room itself was rundown and in need of a lot of repairs. On the back of the room door, the was a hole that looked almost like a bullet hole. The pool area was chilly. The pool water was not warm either. Choice Hotels leaves a lot to be desired! Rooms: In need of repairs and upgrades!

I am highly upset. I come to this hotel when I come to OC. It has been my choice for the past few years. However this last stay was terrible. I first broke out in hives because their was mold in the room. I also got over priced and was on the second floor for whatever reason. (Booked two rooms, the third floor was cheaper) I was then moved to another floor just to unpack and find mouse poop everywhere not just a few droppings but piles of it. I asked if I was going to get a refund and was told yes. Just to get home and realize the refund was only $40 after paying &280+. From the time I got there until I left in hives from the mold and having anxiety due to me being afraid of mice but my children thinking they were going to crawl on them while sleep this wasn't fair to us. Now I am fighting for my money back and getting nowhere. It's not okay! The circumstances were not okay. It's sad because let it have been them and their children I'm sure the refund would have been given. Treat ppl how you want to be treated this was unacceptable. The rooms aren't clean and clearly they have a mice problem. We kept our things packed up the second night in fear yet are being charged...
