If I could give a less-than-one-star review, I would. I asked him to fix a chainsaw a while back. Three weeks later, I went to pick it up after hearing nothing from the owner. My chainsaw was under two other pieces of equipment. "I've fixed it, but let me check to see if everything is okay. Pick it up tomorrow." Riiiight. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I brought him a riding mower to repair. Checked on it's status every couple of months. Drove by periodically and the mower was never moved. At TWO YEARS after dropping it off, I told him I was tired of waiting and would pick it up in three days. He finally got it fixed. However, years of sitting out in the weather took it's toll on the belts and pulleys. 0/10.

Not much on cosmetics but Harold is solid. Nothing he can't fix or improve. Always good to see him, even if I don't need anything at the moment.

Harold is the best at what he does. I love his shop and I don't have many friends but hundreds of people in my life Harold is a true friend. Out of all the years I have known and done business with him I have never seen this man try to overcharge or hurt anyone. He can actually do something very few to this day can he can listen to a motor and tell you exactly what is wrong. Any one who does not give this man a 5 star is an idiot. If you don't believe in angels then you have never met Harold leatherman.

Harold is the best he can fix anything. And his shop is a must see. He has been there for 50 years and gas the relics there to prove it. Hometown guy that Lowe's and home depot don't offer. Buy from him he is the best!!!

Don't go to L&L expecting a nice, clean, store front. Though a Stihl dealer, L&L is primarily a general engine service center. The facitlity is a workshop and as such looks and feels like a workshop. The shop owner is a little rough around the edges but if you can get past this you will find someone who knows his engines and services them well. You'll get the small town experience with a helping hand when you need it and without the huge bills you might get from a franchise shop.
