We had a lot of water puddling in our yard and a neighbor told us we had a water main leak from the house to the county hook up. He recommended Millersville Plumbing, as most of the neighborhood has had a similar problem and use them. They gave us a quote, and were able to start the job in a couple days. They were very professional , finished the job on time, and cleaned up the job site well. We were happy with their work, the crew was polite and pleasant. We will definitely use them again- in fact we have scheduled them already to replace our faucets next week. Our Copper pipes sprang a pinhole leak over New Years weekend. We have used Millersville Plumbing in the past and called them again for this issue. The worker came out and cut away some drywall to find the leak. He found the leak promptly and patched it but advised us we would have to replace all of our existing copper pipes, which we did in the spring with another plumber since the Millersville plumber said that was something they didn't do. (Having just typed this review, I find it odd that they said they didn't replace water lines, when their website says that is something they specialize in.) When the weather warmed up this spring we realized that our air conditioner was not working. When the HVAC repairman came out he found that the wire between the thermostat and the air conditioner had been cut. The cut was right at the hole where the Millersville Plumber had cut with his saw. (The hole was still there due to the impending copper pipe replacement) Long story short $900 to have a new wire run and $400 to have the drywall patched over the new wire run. We tried to contact Millersville plumbing over this, assuming that they had some type of insurance that covered this type of accident. Starting the week of May 11, I began calling the Millersville Plumbing phone number weekly asking to speak to a manager. The person I spoke with would always hem and haw and say something to the effect of "neither of us knew the wire was there". I didn't even know the PIPE was there. That's why I called a professional! Over the next few weeks we would repeat the same phone call and I never heard from a manager. Until yesterday when the manager was the one who picked up the phone. Once I told him the story he gave me the same reply, "neither of us knew the wire was there". When I asked if they would help defray the repair cost at all, he just kept repeating "neither of us knew the wire was there".
