RUN away from this Famer’s Agency. I am a former employee . Once I told Jarvis I was leaving, he refused to pay me my last paycheck until I threatened him with legal action. He sent all of my calls to voicemail and refused to respond to any emails and texts messages . I didn’t receive my paycheck until almost 3 days later on Labor Day weekend. The business is a shyt show and you would be in better hands with a different agent, if not a different company altogether. Farmers rates are ASTRONOMICAL. This agent demands you to come to work on time but is never on time to open up the business ON TIME. I would not recommend anyone work here or do business here. He makes employees pay for their own backgrounds checks, then lies like he’s gonna reimburse them later. I still haven’t received that REIMBURSEMENT, nor my commission for the policies I sold for his agency. Farmers' brand doesn’t protect employees because he's an independent contractor . If anything happens, it’s handled with Jarvis. So if he decides to not pay you, you have to go through department of labor or small claims court. Stay away from the agency.
