I was eager to learn how to knit so, I Googled local yarn shops and this was the closest. I checked it out and was not impressed with the yarn selection but that wasn't what I was looking for anyway. I bought a series of classes. I purchased my supplies and anticipated the first class. When I arrived for my first class it became obvious very quickly that I had not done my homework. I was given a class among a "round table" of other knitters at different experience levels. The attention I was given by the instructor was minimal as she was heavily helping other knitters. When I returned for the next class it was the same. This was very disheartening.

I was early for an appointment in the area and happened to see the store's sign. Although the shop is rather small it has a wonderful selection and very good variety. I think the owner has done a wonderful job utilizing her space by having lots of varieties of coordinating yarns and avoiding the gobs of flashy but not very useable yarn that other stores seem to have too much of. If this shop weren't such a long drive for me, it would have become a regular stop on my yarn foraging trips.
