Dollar Car Rental

Horrible wait times. Dollar was not manned at 1300hrs on a Thursday. Everyone diverted to Thrifty where only one person was working. We tried canceling through the app to no avail. Do not use Dollar or Thrifty at BWI unless you want to hang out in the lobby for over an hour.

If is possible rated 0 os what they deserves. Reservation made 1 week in advance and when I arrived they told me, there is not Cars available and I have to wait 30 minutes. Then 30 minutes more and after 2 hours NOTHING. And the employee at the counter did not know How long I have to wait. Why did not tell me this from the beginning ? Why they make the get the security deposit form my credit card at he beginning ? Why they are Not HONEST? Why they are playing with customer and the worst is make me waste my Time ??? This is the WORST service and WORST rent a car in Baltimore Airport Dont make a reservation in Dollar Dont use their service

Paid in advance through Expedia. Got there no cars, and no cars expected for 2 hours, after an hour told no cars for 2 hours again. In town for a funeral and really couldn't spend hours waiting on a car I already PAID for. Went over and got a car from AVIS. Took about a week to get a refund from Dollar. I will never use Dollar again.

I , had a reservation, rented a car from BWI Dollar rental. I humbly asked the clerk if I can get priority because my family member suffered a ICU event and I needed to get to the hospital. She expressed concern and said she would try to accommodate. 10-12 people were called before me and some were same day rentals, I think they should take reservations first. Secondly, during this Covid time the vehicle was not cleaned. I waited over an hour for the car and couldn't complain because I had to get to the hospital. I emailed corporate and they said tell the agent when I return the vehicle, which I did and was told to reemail corporate. I did and their response was "thanks for letting us know for future customers" I will never rent from Dollar.
