I’m using a false name but I visited him about 8 months ago as he was unfortunately the closest urologist that took my insurance. I arrived on time for my appt and they took someone ahead of me who’s appt was after me. They then couldn’t see me because they didn’t get the faxed referral needed; but instead of calling me and telling me to try and get it sent again or to tell me they’re waiting on it and to postpone my appt they let me travel an hour and then didn’t do anything for my appt. 3 weeks later they finally got my referral. They led me back and the carpets were dirty and smelled awful. They left me in a cold dark empty room in a gown for about 49 minutes with no Explanation with what was to happen, mind you I’m a 26 year old female and was nervous. They left MY chart next to me in the room; I opened it and skimmed through it thinking since it was my chart there was nothing wrong with doing that. He saw me reading it when he finally entered (dr farsaii) and he yelled at the poor nurse infront of me for leaving my chart next to me, he said it needed to be a feet from me so I couldn’t reach it (as if I couldn’t just stand up and walk over and pick it Up). He proceeded then to my chart down right next to me like the nurse did and left for another 20 minutes. Finally he took me back into a creepy, very cheap unprofessional looking procedure room. There was a large unclean looking tub he pulled a tube out and proceeded with my cysto. I was shaking and crying a little because I was alone and scared I had never had a cysto. The nurse was very kind and held my hand and reassured me, so I will say she was the only pleasant part of my experience. He took no time or care he just shoved the numbing syringe up my urethra with no delicacy or care. He did the same with the scope. It was quite uncomfortable and he seemed to excess unneeded force. I came in with the suspicion I had a Stricture in my urethra. He said I didn’t have one and instead said I had a prolapsed bladder. He sent me home with over active bladder meds which was not my problem so I don’t know why they were prescribed. He also said they may have a negative reaction with the meds I was already on and when I asked what kind he shrugged and then told me to get dressed and he left. Fast forward to approx 8 months later (today)he returned my call because the emergency room told me to call him about how my symptoms were getting worse. The ER ended up finding a prolapsed bladder that needs surgery ASAP and a rectal prolapse. Dr Farsaii said the prolapse was minor and he failed to find the rectal prolapse. In his defense it’s possible these got worse over the last 8 months but not probable. Today during our phone call he said he “finally found my chart and said that I have a urethral stricture, which is what I went to see him for initially. So either he missed that until NOW or he is lying so that he can get a patient to come in and get a dilation so he can get money because he has very few patients it seems. Either way that’s awful and he’s an awful dr. I would not recommend going to this practice AT ALL, EVER. Ps He has white goop all over his lips and spit flew onto my face twice when I saw him in person the first time. Ew! He also made a joke about me not being pregnant cause it’s obvious I’m not having sex with men. Yes; I am a lesbian, but that’s a very inappropriate thing to say to a client/ patient. PSS the secretary at the time was nice as well and was treated poorly by Dr. Farsaii, just like the kind nurse was.

He seems to know his stuff but he is very curt and actually just rude. Started with him for my father and will finish as he does seem to know what he is doing but he lacks any empathy or wants to understand his patient. His receptionist is super nice but he def rules with an iron fist... i woukdnt recommend him if you are newly needing a urologist

This Doctor does not care about his patients. I feel sorry his secretary because she is nice. He prescribes medication and cannot confirm meds to your insurance. Makes mistakes so you can see him over and over and charges you every-time. He is very stubborn and thinks he is a great doctor when honestly I have never seen such a horrible condescending person. Stay away

Dr. Farsaii is a mad butcher and no one should ever see him. I went to see him for a pre-vasectomy consultation, after which he did a simple investigation of my vas deferens. To put it plainly, he conducted it with the grace and care of an autistic gorilla. It was very painful, which it should not have been, and would not have been were it conducted by a sane person / competent physician. But it wasn't, and so here I am over a week later, still in pain. I emailed the office, twice, to ask if that was normal or they had any advice for my recovery, and they ignored me twice. One other thing worth mentioning -- during the consultation, when I asked him if there were any potential side effects of a vasectomy, he said no. "Really? None? Not even a 1% chance sort of thing?" He said no again. Um, I'm pretty sure he's setting himself up for a lawsuit by saying that if something does one day go wrong. In conclusion, if you value your genitals, take the extra time to drive to the 2nd closest urologist.
