        This is some of the best pizza you will find in Maryland. And the Italian Market inside of the restaurant is great. Great for supplies for a big dinner. And everything is fresh.

        Lived in Maryland since 1991 and being a NJ pizza snob The Italian Market comes as close to real pizza as any place around. Not quite...thats why they only get four stars.

        My fiance and I ordered cheese calzones for lunch and they were not edible. They were premade and must have been reheated in a microwave. I say this because they came out soggy with a weird chewy texture. It had a funny odor to it (we both described it as a wet dog smell). It had about a pound of lukewarm mozzarella and a very thin layer of ricotta. We both really wanted to like the Italian Market. It had a nice atmosphere and a nice little market with packaged goods. Unfortunately, the food was so bad that we will probably never be there again.
