I have been a regular diner here for years. The food and service have always been excellent. The prices are comparable to other French restaurants with comparable food. I can strongly recommend the cassoulet, French onion soup, escargot, and the duck. The wine list is very good for the area and is fairly price. We have friends who drive from northern VA just to dine here with us.When I run technical conferences in the area I often recommend this restaurant to visitors from Europe and have had nothing but positive comments.

I went to this restaurant for Valentine's day with my boyfriend... and it was an unpleasant experience. When my boyfriend and I made the reservations, the staff informed us that they were booked solid. Thus, he and I had to settle for time. Once we arrived there, the space was really small... and there were barely anyone there. The menu lacked variety... I settled for a salad and he settled for soup for his starting dish. It took forever for that salad and soup to arrive! They gave us bread in the mean time, the bread was really hard and dry! But we were so hungry, we just ate it. When the salad and soup did arrive: seriously, the salad was just lettuce with too much dressing! And my boyfriend soup was too salty, it was just broth by the looks of things too. Afterwards, we ordered the chicken. It was such a small plate... and the seasoning was too overdone, and there was nothing on the side. It was just little bits of chicken. Also, my boyfriend and I are non alcoholic drinkers so their drink choices lacked. We settled for water. For the price that they charged us, this was beyond un-worth it! And I'm French! Born and raised in Montpellier, so this was an outrage... It was a terrible experience. I do not recommend this restaurant.
