I was driving in the area and got hungry so I went to this place and I was so pissed. I literally left my food on the table didnt even take a bite and left the restaurant. After waiting 20 minutes and after paying I went to eat and whatever white stuff they put on the grilled chicken pita smelled so bad, I was disgusted I could not eat it even though I was starving. Such a waste of my money and time. I asked the lady what was in the food and she only told me chicken, lettuce and tomatoes in a pita. I will definitely not be coming here anymore.

Ordered a well done cheese pizza. I Inquired if they do well done pizza before the order. Just picked it up. Not well done at all. They may not know what it s, even though I asked before i ordered. Greasy, sauce was lacking. Staff was nice, however. This place was recommended to me for the pizza. Not sure why. The DMV has disappointed with the pizza so far. Across the board, and Charlies was no different.

While driving N to Alexandria from Stingray Pt, VA via 301 Bridge and on Indian Head Hwy, got hungry and used Google to find us a place to stop and eat. WOW! Great food. Cream of Crab soup had a very rich flavor and lots of Crab and more. My wife's onion rings, made on site were equally superb. I had the 8 oz Cheeseburger with bacon, lettuce, tomato. Huge and top of the line beef, one of the best I have had in years. And, only $9.00! For our frequent trips back and forth , we will ensure that a portion of our trip is on Indian Head Hwy and not on I 95, so we can stop and eat at Charlie's, or call ahead and takeout.
