Our handyman did an excellent job installing our sliding glass door and replacing a piece of our subflooring. He explained everything he was doing and answered all of our questions. It was a pleasure working with this company. Would definitely recommend them

Buyer Beware!
I had written a previous review and looked forward to Handyman on Call doing our next job, 2nd bathroom. The whole experience was horrendous. This was for a full bathroom remodel. They insisted on up front money only to wait about 3 months to "get on their schedule". We should have hired the 2nd company we interviewed who did timely and neat/professional work. The work took about 2 months to complete. I tried to avoid posting this until now.
About every part of the job they did, they had to do twice. The tile work was done by the owners friend, big mistake, it was terrible. the floor of the shower was done twice. The tile spacing is terrible, not even. When I asked him to fix the tiles around the niche, they used caulk, see photo.
The first drywall guy was new and terrible. They sent the friends back out, the walls have gashes, bubbles, nail pops, they would drywall and paint without patching, they said thats what they were told to do. Then they would patch what I asked them to do, then paint, and patch and paint.
They put a vent in the roof for the bathroom fan, that was a mess, had to be redone by someone who knew roofwork. Why didnt he do it in the first place.
The kicker is that the downstairs ceiling started leaking a couple of weeks ago, right below the bathroom they did. I called several times, emailed, sent text messages. Other than their office, which had taken several messages, they have not returned my call. I am having another contractor cut the drywall to see where the issue is and see if it is the new bathroom. If it is, they will get a bill if it is from the new bathroom, if not paid, I will see them in court.
