Ash Away Chimney Services

I had to book about a month out because of a tight schedule, but it was worth the wait.  The guys took one look at my chimney and he said, you don't need a cleaning, save your money.  How often does that happen?  Book a month out, a homeowner that's willing to pay for a service and they say, no wait until next year, it's good for this season.  Kudos to the staff, kudos to an owner that gives the crew the ability to make those calls on their own.  Guess who I'll continue to use again and again?

We needed to replace our existing wood stove and at the very least clean our piping. We had several other companies out for quotes and none of them seemed as knowledgeable or confident as Ash Away. Several other companies said there was no way they could clean our wood stove piping and would have to replace the entire liner (about $2k). Ash Away came out and said they'd be prepared to replace it if necessary when they replace the wood stove, but they'd try to clean it first. Sure enough, all it needed was a good cleaning. They saved us about $2k on the overall costs by not selling us something we didn't need. That kind of honesty is rare these days. Throughout the process they were responsive and helpful with all of our questions. Even with all of the manufacturers having back-order issues and shipping delays,  Ash Away kept us in the loop and never tried to pass the buck on the delays. The installation was seamless. The 2 gentlemen who came out were extremely nice, knowledgeable and respectful of COVID protocols. Not only will we always use this company for future chimney cleanings, we will recommend them to anyone looking for chimney/wood stove help. We truly could not be happier with the job they did.

I needed a chimney cap and for a cleaning of my chimney. I hired someone from Groupon to clean it and  put a cap on.  He wanted 700 dollars to fix the top of my chimney also. I called Ash Away for an estimate, they were higher in price, but I felt more confident hiring them. They did a great job, power washed the chimney and even removed an old antennae that was connected to the chimney. They are coming out this year to clean the chimney. I would hire these guys again. I hired Ash Away Chimney Services to replace the cap on my chimney.  They were polite and friendly both on the phone and in person.  They arrived on time for both the estimate and the job.  The result was professional and, as they promised, I now have the best (and most attractive) chimney cap in the neighborhood.  It's far superior to the one built with the house and will last indefinitely due to its stainless steel construction.  Their price was very reasonable.  I highly recommend Ash Away Chimney Services.
