This company is the worst. For starters the plumber had to come by on 3 different occasions after several incorrect assessments before actually doing the work. This means each time her came by, I had to take off from work to be at the location where the work was being performed. Secondly, he had to come back several different times once the work began because of having the incorrect parts. Once the job was finally complete, i asked the guy if he did a leak check and he said everything is fine. I go to turn on the sinks and water was being rushed back up from an open pipe. The sinks were also leaking from the traps due to improper threading. If that wasnt bad enough, I contacted the company and imformed them of the poor work that had been dojne. The scheduler said they would send someone out the following thursday, no one showed. That was a week prior to this review. I called and emailed the company using every number and every email address listed and nothing back. So i went to another company who just informed me that the who job needs to be reaccomplished for various reasons. They showed me everything AW Smith had done incorrectly. The estimate for the new job was 1500. If you are seeking plumbing, especially for your more complex jobs think twice.

I'm buying a home and scheduled AW Smith & Son to do a septic and well inspection of my new home. After waiting at the property for several hours into the scheduled window (during my work hours) with my real estate agent, I called them to find out that they had scheduled me for the wrong day. After rescheduling for the following day, an hour into the window of my appointment, they called me to inform me that they weren't actually certified to do septic inspections in the county of my new home and would not be coming. This again took time out of my work day and my agent's work day. You would think that one of the two scheduling people I spoke with would know things like this. As for the quality of their work, I can only speak to the scheduling people who obviously lack attention to detail (improper scheduling) and are horribly uninformed about the services they are scheduling.
