In June we had a major plumbing disaster in our basement and ended up with about 1.5 inches of sewage water and waste on the basement floor. That was a nasty sight, believe me. I called a plumbing company first but they referred me to Restoration 1 explaining that such jobs were their area of expertise. I called them and they sent people immediately – cleaned up and fixed everything very quickly, for which I was truly and heartily thankful. My overall impression was that they were super professional, honest and upstanding people. Even though I didn’t use them for the other repairs that were related to the water damage (I ended up doing it with my contractor who I usually use for repairs) they gave me ample instructions and consulting on what needs to be repaired and what needs to be replaced, they explained what to do to get rid of that awful sewage smell and explained about the plumbing changes that I need to make to avoid such disasters in the future.
