I am highly disappointed with Long and Foster crofton! They tried to take advantage of me on my worst day. I was kicked out of my boyfriends house and needed a new place immediately. I spent all day (over 4 hours) getting approved, payed a high application fee, signed all the papers, pulled my credit, went to the bank to get cashier checks to move in a place the same day, I even signed the lease after being told I was accepted. I signed and wrote out the cashier checks to long and foster and the landlord. William the agent kept leaving the room to speak with the landlord and at the very end after EVERYTHING was signed. He comes in saying the landlord now all of a sudden wants last months rent too! On top of the full month security deposit and first months rent because of “covid”. It’s no coincidence that I Needed to provided them with my bank info and they seen I have a large savings. They really are trying to take advantage of people by lying to them! I would of never even paid the application fee if this was mentioned! He sent me to a bank with what I needed to get out written on a piece of paper, and the last months rent was never mentioned or included! Knowing I just had surgery and not suppose to be walking on my knee, after crying on his shoulder knowing I have to start all over and was desperate to move in today, they played me! It’s not good business to lie to people, or change things up at the very end! They- long and foster and the landlord simply tried to take advantage of me! And once I said he’ll no it was like oh let me go back in the other room and call her again I’m sure she will accept it! Naw, I don’t wanna do business with sneaky manipulative people! I took my cashiers checks back and left out! My heart was broken twice today! Thanks for wasting my time, emotions, and money! Now I have to figure out what to do with 3k of cashiers checks already written out to them! Just terrible business!!

Maria Alessandri and Lynn Hansford were the best relators anyone could ask for. They went above and beyond to help my family with all the challenge of buying a house in 2020. Without their high level of responsiveness, customer service, and expertise we would have 100% ended up in the wrong house or still in a one bedroom apartment. We love our new home in Arnold! We cannot thank them enough for helping us buy our first home. Thanks Maria and Lynn!
