Carol is a calming presence and very insightful. Emotionally Focussed Therapy (EFT) is the methodology she uses and my wife and I, who are not naturally very in-touch with our own emotions , often allowed our reactive emotions get the better of us and lead to misunderstandings, hurt feelings and damaged our connection. Carol is helping us to be more aware of the underlying core emotions that are the root cause of the negative cycles we get trapped in. We are in a much better place now together. I think every couple should consider emotionally focussed therapy, not just those in troubled relationships. We feel that, had we pursued therapy earlier in our relationship, we could have avoided a lot of hurt over the years.

My husband and I grew apart like many couples. This was most apparent when our children grew up and left the house. Once that happens, there are no more games to watch, school functions to attend, and taxi service to provide. Our children were gone, and we were left with each other and the issues that we had buried because there was no time before, come to the surface. When we went to see Carol, we were not in a good place. Carol helped us deal with cycles and find out what was truly behind those cycles. In most cases, it is our pain and fear that hold us back from allowing our life partner in. With Carol's help, we were able to face our pain and fear together, and we are so much stronger. Carol has been instrumental in allowing us to truly love each other again. We will always feel incredibly grateful for her patience and guidance. She truly is an amazing therapist, but most importantly a caring individual. Thank you Carol.

My wife and I both went to see Carol some three years ago. My wife and I had grown into a mess. All the things that lurked in our private closets threaten our very existence. I won of our first session I told carol I felt like my wife were in differrent rafts drifting slowly apart from each other in the middle of the ocean. While I connected with my wife. I did not really connect because I was held back by my fear and pain I only new. All my fears and imperfections I had placed in boxes on the shelves in my personal space. As I said then, the reason we are here is because I have run out of boxes placing all my emotions in limbo in stasis. It happened slowly but after facing these emotions and confronting our fears both of us have truly been set free. Our lives both on a personal and professional basis have completely been transformed. It is like a miracle and the energy my wife and I put out it is displaced throughout the world in an amazing way. Looking back it is hard to even remember who I was. Not that I am not me, but who I am and how I see the world and how the world sees me has completely been transformed. Carol is nothing short of amazing in her understanding of how to get you to open those boxes on the shelf with your partner. It is not easy. It takes a lot of time, work and most importantly commitment. There is no mo teary value I can a sign to it, but whatever it cost I would gladly pay it agian and more to be where I am and more importantly where we are right now. Thank You Carol!!!!
