Not sure about all of the negative reviews, but my experience with Bluegrass has been great so far! My provider listens to my concerns and I am able to easily schedule a follow-up appointment with her to keep up with my treatment plan.

Dr Mathis is an amazing psychiatrist with a ton of experience. He always makes himself available to his patients and will go out of his way to help them. Just generally a good guy. I've had multiple psychiatrists (and he's by far the best) and therapists, but he's the only one I've dealt with at Bluegrass Psychiatry. The front desk staff are very helpful and knowledgeable as well.

I saw Dr David Forbes. Professional and listens well. Sad for me he is retiring. Office is clean and comfortable with minimal wait time. Down side the receptionist is rude unfriendly. She refuses eye contact and dismissive. Its a shame she is the first thing you meet. Leaves a bad taste every time i had to deal with her.

Ive been seeing Dr. Mathis for 4 years or so. He is an amazing doctor and man. Has saved my life many times and is the best doctor Ive ever had. He cares a lot about his patients and it shows. He is always there for me. Grateful for Bluegrass Psychiatry!
