This location has moved up the street across from McDonalds. I am very disappointed in the customer service. After I ordered 3 people that ordered after me got their food before me even though all I ordered was plain fried rice. This is not what upset me as I understand things happen. When I tried to say excuse me to ask about the status of my food the cashier looked at me said “huh” and then immediately started helping another guest. So now me and my friend are both saying excuse me trying to get someone’s attention and they deliberately ignore us and continue packing food. Finally I get in front of a worker and ask and she doesn’t even look at me and says “coming!” As she walks away. This is not the first time I have been treated very rudely at this location. Customer service is just as important as the product, something they do not value at Shanghai.

Permanently closed. Sadly, Shanghai Cafe is gone. The building where it has been is being shut down for redevelopment. You can see that breakdown is already happening. I liked coming here and the people were nice. The food was pretty good, and always a good deal. There are other great fancy Chinese food places in the area, but beyond Panda Express there aren't any more traditional quick carry out places. Hopefully Shanghai, or another place, will find a home in the area soon.
