I’m not sure if the owners read recent reviews or the last few people just were there on bad days, but we had a great experience. We got the crab cake Benedict, which had plenty of crab. It was a bit salty for us, but we also don’t use too much salt, so others may love that. We also got the mushroom Reuben, which was so good that I forgot to take a pic before eating half. The service was great and quick. It’s not cheap, but seems on par for DC prices 🤷🏻‍♀️

Terrible food. Nutritious food does not need to be expensive for poorly prepared cheap ingredients. The crab cake, priced at $25, was made up of crab flavored mush with 2 microscopic lumps of white crab meat. The shrimps in the shrimp salad and taco were over cooked and rubbery. The other dishes were assembled without flavor. I will get much better food from the salad bars at Wholefood or Fresh nearby at a fraction of the cost. Perhaps, it is a nice place for you to rent a resting space with some complimentary greens that were threw together on a big plate. After spending $30 a person on an appetizer size main dish, we needed to get a slice of pizza next door.
