AllCare Family Medicine and Urgent Care of Bethesda

My appointment was early in the morning right after a snow/ice storm. I wasn't sure my doctor would be in, but she was waiting for me when I arrived. We were the only 2 people there but, as usual, the my doctor was her usual efficient and friendly self. And, I only had to wait a few minutes for the blood draw person to arrive, so didn't have to go back for that.

Could not be happier with my experience. We had a bit of a rocky start with administrative and technical issues but once I connected with Dr Strickland everything went well.

Had a virtual appointment scheduled today at 9am and the link would not work so I called multiple times (was hung up on twice) and when I finally reached someone at 9:10 I was informed that the doctor I had scheduled with was not available today and I had supposedly been called prior to inform me to reschedule which wasn't true as I did not receive any missed calls. I also got a text message reminder 15 minutes prior to the appointment saying the appointment was scheduled in 15 minutes but if the doctor wasn't available why was that text sent? Operator offered to reschedule the appointment but put in the reason for canceling as being requested by the patient which also isn't true as it was canceled by the doctor and even the reschedule was with another random doctor when I intentionally made the appointment with the doctor I wanted. Terrible experience and I will be looking elsewhere for medical care.
