Ruth's Chris Steak House - CLOSED

Really not impressed. At over $100 a plate, you should expect everything to be exceptional. The drinks were made by an amateur. Same goes with the $11 side dishes. I get better potatoes at Cracker Barrel. Interesting how they place extensive dress code details on their website. Dress code you would expect for a high end restaurant. Yet easily half of the dining room at the Bethesda location was wearing gym clothes, knit hats, and no one wore a mask into the facility. It's simple, if you really don't care, don't have a dress code.

I had a wonderful dinner, with an amazing ambiance! To make it even better, the service was impeccable. William was the best & made sure I was well taken care of! Whenever, Im in the area, Ill be sure to stop in.

Medium ribeye was cooked perfectly and lobster tail was very tasty. Lobster Mac n cheese is a must. Sweet potatoe casserole was very good. The place wasn't too busy so our waitress was very attentive.

My family of 6 went to Ruths to celebrate my 75th Birthday. My 2 daughter in laws ordered lobster and turf and were informed by our waiter that the chef did not think the lobster was to standard. No lobster being served. No in bone steaks were available. My crusted bass was under cooked and had to be sent back. The wedge salad had brown spots throughout. I had not been to your restaurant in years and wanted to celebrate my Birthday in style. Bottom line, the food was at best mediocre. Finally, we wanted to have dinner at 7pm but your reservation contact told us that the latest time left was at 6:30pm. When we arrived, many tables were open and never filled leading us to believe you deliberately wanted to shut down early to save money. I expect a lot more from a high end restaurant and was underwhelmed on what was supposed to be a great night.
