I walked to the Bethesda Ave. branch at 10:30 this morning. I wanted to cash in $11 in rolled coins -- quarters and pennies. The branch was empty. I asked the teller if she needed my account number. She said no, but she did need ID. I was on my morning walk and didn't have ID with me. She said she couldn't open the money drawer unless I had ID. I asked for the manager. No manager. Would she call a manager? No. Would she just deposit the $11 into my account? No. Two other tellers listened but offered no help. Should this be so hard? I have WAY more than $11 in my account to cover the coins. Don't they have my signature on file? But she wouldn't even look. I would rate this branch ZERO stars if I could.

I waited an hour to get something that could have taken 5 minutes to type up. The location is extremely understaffed and the person who helped me didn't seem like he know what he was doing until the very last minutes. I wasted so much of my time coming here. Capital One bank is not my #1 choice but my family wants me to here. There are plenty of banks closely. I want to take my business somewhere else.
