image i had been going there with my parents since about 1977, then i left for Austin Texas, my Dad for Minneapolis, Minnesota., and my Mom returned to her roots, in Chester County Pennsylvania. Some 10 plus years later my Dad came back to Btown, remarried. Guido and Tina DeFranco's food was once again the #1 Italian connection for our family. Caesar's was then and till the day they shut their doors my father's home away from home dinner spot. We always were welcomed as we entered their threshold.Tina, our hostess offered her gentle motherly kind smiles, and soon after we were seated~ more often than not would emerge from his post in the galley my very own, "Father Guido Sarducci" to greet us by his sweaty handshake & solid a hug. For all those years in his tiny hot kitchen this man must have loved what he did day after day night after night! The time they put in it showed. There were plenty other places to go, but people like us were loyal to this little corner italian pocket "Den". I will always have a special place in my heart for T &G. When you find something you like you stick with it. They worked hard to make their guests pleased and for my pop, full of spaghetti, plenty of garlic to provide a barrier to illness, delicious bread and vegetable sides… .I can attest to fresh, tender, sweet, and spicy shrimp fra diablo. Always made to order each and every meal… Sigh, but a legend now, our stories will forever keep the blood red and richly Italianized, because of the famous ones in little Italy, Baltimore, Maryland… Caesar's long live you

image Went there with friends last night. Service was okay and no one complained about the food. However, beware, they refused to separate the check amongst couples and charged 24% tip. If you go, go as a couple or with a VERY SMALL group. They can't handle a large group like we had. I'll never go back, don't appreciate getting ripped off
