Crush

Everything was great until after our meal we were leaving and a mouse runs across the damn floor!! Wth?!

Food was nice, service at the bar was attentive. The prix fixe menu is a great deal...I had shrimp and grits app. 3 jumbo shrimp with nice grits. The steak was nicely cooked to medium rare, and dessert was a nice finish...all for only $37. The basics are done well. The "extras" were lacking. The staff dress code/uniform is much to casual (looks like a chain restaurant). The bar was much too bright (it felt like last call), and I had to tell the staff their music wasn't playing. The bar and kitchen also seemed to be out of some key items...no Myers Rum, no sour mix, and of the several flavors of ice cream on the menu, they only had two...and all this on a SATURDAY evening. Crush feels like they're trying to be sexy and hip, but they're just not hitting the mark. The little things add up and are probably why the place was relatively empty on what should be the busiest time on the busiest night for a restaurant like this.
