Lisa and Cindy were lifesavers for our family! After giving birth to my daughter I realized that I would probably need help because we have a 2 year old at home as well. I panicked but was directed to labor and lullabies and they were able to find nights to come and help. My postpartum experience has been so much easier this time than it was with my first child and I genuinely think it is from having post partum doulas. Whether it was having company in the middle of the night as I breastfed my baby or getting help on sleeping tips or products— feeling this support made the biggest difference for me. This is worth every penny. Lisa and Cindy are professional, experienced and love what they do. They will literally care for your child like one of their own. Can’t say enough positive things!

Lisa and Cindy were fantastic- kind, helpful and trustworthy! They came to the rescue and helped us get sleep with a newborn and toddler at home!

I hired Labor and Lullabies for night care of my newborn for a total of 5 nights starting when he was 2 weeks old. Lisa was great! Even though she already received the covid vaccine, she still wore a mask the whole time she was in my house which was reassuring. She was very respectful of my desire to breastfeed and brought me the baby each time he needed to feed, per my request. Other than that, she changed diapers, soothed him and even gave suggestions for treatment of his diaper rash. I am so grateful for the extra sleep I was able to get on the nights she cared for my baby!

My older sister set me up with Lisa a few days after we brought our baby home after learning that I was struggling with breastfeeding and a traumatic birth. Lisa didn’t have availability, but somehow made some in her schedule so she could come out and see us (and she stayed longer than she was paid for)! Not only did she help me with breastfeeding and pumping, but she was also a great listener and validated all of my postpartum feelings. She was so kind to me-it was like the warmest hug without being able to hug (covid). I would definitely recommend Lisa for postpartum doula services! It felt so great to be taken care of and made me realize I need to also take care of myself as well as my baby. Thank you!

Our daughter was born last year just before covid came crashing into our lives, which meant Lisa was only able to come to our home for overnight care once. She was so kind and understanding when we decided to put our contract on pause. Fast forward many months and I found myself in desperate need of a break when we were going through a sleep regression, and when I reached out to Lisa she was ready and willing to help. We were originally going to have Lisa for overnight care but since our needs changed we were able to have her come during the day instead and I am so glad it worked out that way because she allowed me to take some much needed time for myself and I am so grateful for that! I was nervous to leave the house at first but it was easy to trust that my daughter was in good hands with Lisa. She is one of a kind and really, truly loves what she does. I miss seeing her every week and will definitely be calling her to help when the time comes again!
