Rochelle Photography & Design

DO NOT USE RPD. My wife and I hired Rochelle Photography & Design for our October 2019 wedding. We purchased her “Fairy Tale” package which included pictures, a 2nd photographer, a canvas print, etc. We were assured that we would have “sneak peek images” within a few weeks of the wedding. That didn’t happen. We tried to follow up multiple times via phone, text, email - but received no responses at all for MONTHS. There was no “sorry, i’m running behind”. She didn’t say “I have your pictures but am still editing them, sorry it is taking longer than expected”. Nor, did we hear: “everything is ok with your pictures, I just haven’t been feeling well and need a little more time to complete them”. No communication, no professionalism, no photos. Imagine paying thousands of dollars for someone to capture your wedding day and then not getting a single photo for months or even an assurance that there were going to be pictures… It wasn’t until mid-February, 4 months later, and over 2 months after we were assured we would get our wedding photos that we received HALF of them via online download. This is a clear violation of her wedding contract. When we finally got these pictures, Rochelle also promised my wife via text message that she would have the balance of pictures to us the following day. That was also a lie. It has now been another 4 months since then. No further communication despite countless attempts to reach her. Rochelle Mirabito has ignored all of our attempts to reach her. I cannot recommend strongly enough against using her for ANY work. Whether by sheer laziness or incompetence she appears completely incapable of honoring her commitments as a “professional” photographer. We will be moving ahead with legal action, as we have no other recourse.

Throughout the beginning of the process, Rochelle was very responsive and professional. For our engagement photos and our wedding day, she was excited to photograph us. She was open to ideas and very flexible. Rochelle was also very affordable! However, Our contract stated that the pictures would be ready within 8 weeks of the wedding, which was June 9th. It is now October third and we have only received some sneek peeks. She has been hard to get a response from via text, phone call, and email. From what I have heard from her, she was been sick this summer, however it took over a month to even hear back from her. It's okay that our pictures are not back given the situation, however, the lack of communication has really put a damper on this experience.
