L & R Electricians

They forgot about our appointment and had no plans to let us know they were canceling. When they were 1/2 hour late for the appointment, I called to inquire. Larry (the L of L&R) said they had an emergency at a grocery store last night, and wouldn't be able to do the job today. When I asked if he was ever going to let me know, he said, "I actually kind of forgot about it." He did not seem too worried about losing the business. His "I'm-not-interested-in-what-you-have-to-say" demeanor on the phone, when scheduling, should have given it away. DO NOT USE.

I have been using L&R electricians for some time now at my business and I couldn't be happier. They are always on time, professional, clean and very knowledgeable. Calling them assures me that my problem will be fixed quickly and correctly.

These guys are excellent electricians. It's a father and son team and they arrived promptly, kept me informed as to their ETA until they arrived and when they got there did an excellent job. No nonsense and right to work. For what they had to do, their price was more than reasonable. They completely rewired most of the top floor of our 100+ year old rowhouse in one day. Highly recommend them!

Two men arrived early to inspect pulsating electric at my home. The pulse was happening prior to the fuse switching completely off. The "pulse" confirmed to the staff that it was a BGE problem. Unfortunately I was charged $252 to only be told that BGE was the cause of my problem, not my internal electric wiring. Unfortunately I can't separate the customer service from the workmanship but b/c they turned a $75 inspection into an additional $150 charge I don't agree with 5 stars. I learned of them through Angie's List and my neighbor. B/C they sent two staff just to "test" the problem they didn't have to repair I feel that was a tad unscrupulous. The entire visit lasted
