I happened to be in the neighborhood and stopped by to see if I could find any information about a relative who died in 1915 and was thought to be buried in Cedar Hill. In the office I was greeted by David Richter who was very friendly and went through the cemetery records to find that yes, my relative was, in fact, buried in Cedar Hill in 1915. David copied all relevant records for me and when I thanked him and went to leave and fumble around the grounds looking for my great grandfather when David stopped me and told me that he would go out with me to help. With his encyclopedic knowledge of the grounds he found the most likely spot that my GGF was buried and pointed it out to me. I learned a lot about cemeteries in general and Cedar Hill in particular that afternoon thanks to David. Customer service is not dead!
