My wife and I come here every year. We have a little cabin about 20 minutes away and this place is the best thing going for a wonderful 5 star restaurant. It’s tucked away in a quiet spot, so don’t go by to fast or you’ll miss it!! The food is always fantastic. This guy could hang with any chef in NYC…probably out cool many of them. If you’re in the area, you want to come and have dinner here!

We came up from CT and love to try local places (I am very picky and he works in a kitchen but both of us aside from the cleanup really enjoy food preparation at home. Maple glazed salmon (delightfully buttery) cooked properly (not too long), hot crab dip cheesy, full of delicious ME crab, good chicken wings (bone in), fish chowder that was more fish than potatoes, freshly baked zucchini bread served warm with soft butter. Not enough room left for dessert! Only downfall was tortilla chips (probably left open in kitchen) were stale and sweet potato fries were a little too salty (maybe ask for them unsalted instead). Server was attentive and receptive to us. She made us feel like old friends. Totally worth the drive and will certainly come back to this gem next year.
