My home was severly damaged by steam. One room needed a new floor. I wanted the new floor to match the color of stain, lengths of wood, type of wood, etc. . Dickel met my needs and did a fantastic job

I would have given this company, specifically the owner Don Dickel, a minus 10 stars if it were possible. Before internet reviews were available, or at least commonplace, we hired him to install our wood flooring and staircase. He was the most expensive quote we received but he sold himself to us as the best, the expert, and we bought it hook, line and sinker, with the key word being sinker. It was a disaster! I had to have my cousins construction husband come in to fix the staircase moldind Mr. Dickel had installed himself and several other problem areas which we photographed. When asked, he refused to return to fix the problem areas and when we reported him to The Better Business Bureau, he made up lies as his defense, blaming me for each and every issue I described. DO NOT be taken in by this arrogant actor. Find someone reputable to install your flooring.

I can't say enough good things about Dickel floors. Working with Caleb was an absolute pleasure. He brought our two-hundred-year-old pine floors back to life and even came through for a follow-up visit to make sure we were satisfied. Worth every penny.

Despite the higher cost than its competitors, we went with Dickel to supply and install about 900 sq ft of hickory flooring in the upstairs of our home. We made our decision because this company has been in business for years and seemingly had a good reputation; the limited reviews we found confirmed our thinking. However, our experience was not pleasant. Not only was our install slow, which we can understand, the installer was not communicative and did not pay attention to detail. He also deemed the job complete when it wasnt. Office staff was argumentative, rude, and unprofessional. Look elsewhere for your flooring needs. Edit: nearly a month ago, the company responded to this review by stating, among other things, that they would send a free cleaning kit as a thank you. It's been a month and we have not received anything. Not that we want a cleaning kit, but it is worth pointing out the lack of follow through on Dickel's part, which one could read as simply a way to save a little face online.

Cheyenne and Roland did a fabulous job on our wood floor. They were careful, and fussy, and patient, even tho it took longer than expected.
