MainStay Cottages & RV Park

I wasn't able to stay. I was calling to inquire. I asked about a specific weekend and she said she had no availability. I was looking for a cottage so wanted to make sure it was the cottages that were booked and not the campground, so I asked to clarify "no cottages available either?: She was very rude and said "didn't you hear me say I was booked". so I said: "oh i'm sorry, you don't have to be so mean about it, I hope your day gets better" In the sweetest voice I could muster. Always better to take the higher road, but I'll never inquire back here again.

We stayed in Ledgelawn and our son in the boat house. Both were very well appointed, clean, and had everything we needed. The lawns are kept beautifully and the views are outstanding.. The location is perfect as we could hop on the LLBean bus at any time the ferry landed - which we could see from our cottage. We took Pearl's walking tour of the area and it was very informative.. Pearl and Roger are excellent hosts.
