John was excellent and came highly recommended from my neighbor who also owns a two-story single family home. His response time was great, followed through, and always kept me up to date on progress. The work was top notch, thorough, affordable, and John did a great job explaining everything to me. Overall very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend him!

John helped us with a really dirty chimney and fixed the masonry around the flue opening. He also waterproofed our roof where the chimney flashing had aged. Great local resource, highly recommend!! Services: Chimney inspections, Chimney repair & restoration, Chimney cleaning

John was fantastic. He did an excellent job on repointing the bricks on my chimney and installing a chimney cap. His price was extremely reasonable given the amount of time and effort he put into the job. He's a one-man shop and doesn't have a team of people to call/email you back - just keep that in mind if he takes a bit to get back to you. But he does an excellent job! John came over to give us an estimate on our project to fix a crack in our chimney. While we were surprised that he didnt have a ladder tall enough to get up on our roof to take a look (we had one he could borrow but he didnt take us up on the offer- our roof is a standard 2-story height), he gave us an estimate, said he could do it within 3 weeks, we confirmed via e-mail, and never heard from him again. Weve left voice messages and e-mail messages and have not heard back. We certainly hope he is okay, and know that these are challenging times for everyone. Unfortunately we cant recommend him because he hasnt responded to us or followed through with his work offer.
