My wife and I stayed there with her sister and their family and Golden Doodle for 4 nights earlier this month. The accommodations were beautiful and very comfortable, the breakfasts delicious and Tom and Yvonne were very hospitable and easy going. Great swims and paddles on the lake / river and a super quiet location. The location is actually great for people who want to have access within half an hour to various places along the coast, including Rockland, Camden, Rockport and our favourite Belfast. Highly recommended!

Thanks you both for making our Mother/ Daughter's weekend so memorable! Yvonne&Tom are awesome host and make you feel at home as soon as you get there. The fresh made breakfast with homemade cranberry sconces are amazing and the rooms are so comfortable. You can't beat the price either so much better than a stuffy old hotel room.! We will be back again!💜

The owners (new since 6 yrs ago) are fabulous hosts - they think of everything! The huge and peaceful property is a slice of heaven! Accommodations in the 1700s farmhouse are SO comfortable and relaxing. You are only sharing the house with a few other guests so it is a much quieter experience than some inns. Breakfast is made to order, using their farm fresh eggs, honey, concord grape jelly, and garden vegetables and herbs. Yvonne’s warm tomato salad with goat cheese is excellent, as are Tom’s scones!! You will not want to leave the front porch overlooking the field and pond! I became one with the very comfy chair for several hours while my husband played guitar and the dog napped in the sun at my feet. You might even see deer cross the field or an eagle circle over the pond. Everything you need to explore the large and beautiful Seven Tree Pond is provided (canoe, kayaks, life vests, paddles). There are some great hikes nearby and Camden is only 15 mins away via scenic Rt 17. Also, they are dog-friendly! The owners (and two other guests) were so gracious with our young rescue dog and helped create a positive experience for her with strangers in a strange place. Kyra laid at the owner’s feet when it was time to go - she didn’t want to leave! If you’re looking for a really sweet place to stay ‘out of the fray’ in the Camden area - or just want to try something new - we highly recommend the David Robbins Homestead in Union on Seven Tree Pond!! It is everything a BnB should be, and everything you hope for when you need to ‘get away from it all.’

Waking up in the Sunrise Suite to the sun shining through the windows as it rose into clear blue skies over Seven Tree Pond, and hearing the call of the loons for five mornings in a row was the most wonderful and relaxing way to begin our six day stay at the Homestead. The peace, quiet and tranquillity of this Bed and Breakfast are more than we could have asked for. Yvonne and Mike go above and beyond to ensure you have a first class stay. They are such gracious and friendly hosts. The room is beautiful, comfortable and has so many little touches to make you feel at home. I loved the fresh flowers in a vase on the picture window sill overlooking a meadow where chickens and wildlife were scurrying around! Breakfast with fresh eggs, delicious bacon, homegrown tomato dishes and locally sourced bread was delicious and substantial enough to give us a great start to the day. Home baked cookies appeared on the table each evening to welcome us back! We didn’t get to walk down to paddle in the pond or sit outside on comfortable chairs by the roaring fire on Saturday evening because of our schedule but these are just a couple of aspects of our next visit that we greatly look forward to.
