Bought an older home with ALOT of deteriorated pipe wrap that wasn't immediately visible on showing and was downplayed heavily by the realtor and inspector. Cause for some sleepless nights and extreme buyers remorse post closing... Acadia contractors sent over Dan to assess the scope and plan the job, and Mike and Akim set up containment and worked tirelessly to remove the "miracle mineral" pipe wrap. Great team! Very professional and respectful. Made me feel very comfortable with the work, and now I'm feeling much safer and happier in my otherwise awesome old house. Thanks Acadia! Ps. Yes, it's expensive, but they could have charged a bundle more and I wouldn't have known better. Their pricing came in exactly towards the national average for the amount of linear feet removed based on the online calculators out there. Super fair value considering the complexity of the work, the limited number of specialists doing this work, the location of my home, and the difficulty in getting any variety of licensed professional out with the national labor shortage.

Acadia did a great job removing all the old plaster and blown-in insulation from our 1890s home. The work was done quickly with no disruption to the rest of our home. They sealed off the work area from the rest of the house and used a negative pressure machine to contain the dust. When they were done everything was thoroughly vacuumed and mopped. Thank you to Dan for his quick response to my phone calls and to Dean, Curtis, Josh and Thomas for taking on one of the nastiest jobs I can imagine. I would definitely recommend Acadia to anyone who asks and would absolutely hire them again if needed. Wes Raspiller, Westbrook ME.
