Paul does a great job for myself personally and for the rental property we manage. He is always prompt, reliable, and very personable to work with. Paul and his crew at North Star Cleaning Service completely amazed me when they came to clean my carpets.I had this one carpet that I was sure I was going to have to tear up - and it really wasn't terribly old. We had a male cat that had decided to mark his territory before he got fixed (over and over again I might add) - and it smelled horrible. I tried everything to get it out, even purchased this special stuff from the vets that it supposedly what people in forensics use to get the blood/protein out of crime locations. Didn't work.Paul showed up, and not only was able to get the smell out of carpet, but also gave me an education as it related to carpet stains and smells and why the over the counter stuff and other cleaning methods didn't, and wouldn't work. Bonus - the rugs looked fabulous!He certainly made a believer out of me! I will never rent a rug cleaner or buy over the counter products for this type of a job again. Paul and his crew are professional, knowledgeable, fast and friendly!I highly recommend North Start Cleaning Service!

We had North Star Cleaning come to clean our carpets on the recommendation of a friend. We weren't sure the stains in our 14-year old carpet would come out, but needed to try - and our friend assured us that North Star would be our best chance at avoiding replacing the carpeting.I have to say that I was blown away! Not only did the stains come out, but the carpet truly looked almost brand new! There was one stain that creeped back up from the padding underneath (some 'ghost' stains will do that), and North Star gladly came back and used a different technique to remove the stain. Paul (the owner) also educated me on how to treat stains as they happen. We were using a chemical on the rug that left a residue that wasn't good for the carpets and made cleaning them more difficult. He really knows his stuff!Eventually we're going to be ripping up that 14-yr old carpet - but why spend the money now when we know what North Star Cleaning can bring it back to such great condition?
