The negligence and total inability of this institution to do basic paperwork or even keep their own records in order borders on criminal. Banking here has cost me years, cars, and apartments. Because of their constant errors we lost our car 4 days before Christmas. And; even after closing my account with them they managed to dock my credit score by 70 points for more than a year with another "Error". Counting 0 out of 0 payments as 0% not 100% of payments made. There are other banks that can actually do math and will actually behave responsibly with your finances. I highly recommend banking elsewhere.

I came to this credit union about 10 years ago after Kennebunk Savings closed their Biddeford location and I have not ever regretted the choice. I encourage others to do business with Atlantic (and other) credit unions because it really is a much friendlier, more human experience than any bank I've used.
The loan officers and tellers are wicked friendly and (if I recall correctly) you get 3-4 overdraft forgivenesses per year. They also do not charge overdraft per day; only per transaction that goes negative.
If you're moving into the area or staying awhile, can't recommend these guys enough.

I have always had great service. That is why i stay.
