It was a warm evening yes, Oct 14th in Waterville Me...we were able to sit outside for a delicious dinner. Three completely different meals were enjoyed by all. Grilled shrimp, Cobb salad and salmon. Everything was cooked to perfection so we were all part of the clean plate club. No room for dessert maybe next time. They were very short staff with that said our waitress was very pleasant and took care to make sure not only our family but all of her customers were taken care of.

Great French onion soup and chowder and had tenders with homemade blue cheese and it was the best I’ve ever had.

We stopped here for lunch during our Fall Foliage trip. We checked in at 1:50 pm and our food was served at 3:10 pm. Apparently, we were not only party waiting for more than hour. Other parties around us on the outside deck were also painfully tired of the wait and the waitress was going around apologizing to all the tables. They finally started serving us when restaurant officially closed at 3 pm. I understand, restaurants are short-staffed but such a slow service is unacceptable. The restaurant should seat limited number of customers and turn down others. We would have happily gone to other place in that case.

First I would like to start off by saying, have patience, have respect and overtip these hardworking people. The food here is absolutely delicious and the staff is very helpful and welcoming but they are extremely understaffed currently and so your food will take longer to get to you, your drinks will take longer but it is all absolutely worth it and you're supporting the local community. Our waitress Ashley was really kind and always helpful. We came back a second night because of the great service from Ashley and the delicious food. I had the New York strip with garlic butter and mashed potatoes while my wife had the teriyaki steak tips and the chicken marsala on the second evening. We are typically disappointed by the quality of food in small towns like these but this restaurant surprised us both. I highly recommend dining here when you visit Rangeley, Maine.
