American Red Cross Blood Donation Center

Donated successfully again at Sable Oaks!! I say successfully because after 2 times of failing years back( clotting stopped etc) I almost stopped trying but everyone there is so encouraging and skilled. Special shout out to Emma who rocks and never misses a beat! Wyatt was still in training and did such a great job! He will definitely be a favorite in no time. I understand the frustration if you are trying to squeeze in a donation in a short time frame but everyone there was pitching in and scrambling the entire time I was there. Thanks to all!

Nurses are great, when they can get you in. It's more of a flagship/HQ for blood drives and I find it to be extremely inefficient at regular blood donations. You are better off going to an actual blood drive if there is one that fits your schedule.

I went to the Portland center today a little earlier than my appointment. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. They were able to get me in a little early. Grace, my Phlebotomist was excellent! She was thorough, professional, and caring.
