They were friendly enough, but I had to wait over an hour before the doctor saw me. I was given a prescription for eye glasses and I wanted to get them filled online, but I can't because the PD (pupillary distance) wasn't on the script. So I called the office and was put on hold, only to have the receptionist tell me it was not in my records and that I could come back in any time for them to do this. The problem is, I am in a power wheel chair and the medical transportation is not going to cover me going back there for it. Also the internet says that my eye doctor would have this info since it is the very first thing they do in an eye exam. Well, apparently they were running late that day and decided to skip that step with me. No glasses for me! UPDATE! I finally got my eyeglass prescription filled from an eyeglass store. They were able to measure the PD distance for me. The prescription that Dr.Parks wrote was way off for me! I was used to wearing 400 strength readers and he put down 225 for the reader part. Now I have these nice new progressive glasses and I still need to carry around my readers because he was way off in testing my eyes. I can't get my money back for the glasses because they did not write the prescription, Dr. Parks did.. Now I will need to find a new eye doctor and my insurance is not going to cover it.
