I contacted James Wade at Beacon Tax Advocates, LLC. needing help with IRS issues for an estate of which I was the personal representative; a role for which I had no training. There were tax concerns for both the estate's individual and business taxes. I had been unable to effectively work with the IRS representatives. I finally contacted Beacon Tax Advocates, for no other reason than they were a Maine firm. I say "finally" only that, looking back, I could have saved myself a lot of time and frustration if I had contacted them from the start. They were incredibly responsive in responding to my inquiry and listening patiently as I described the issues. Their knowledge was immediately evident. As they worked through the tax issues, they stayed in contact , updating me on their progress. I can not speak highly enough of how that alone took away any anxiety, giving me assurance that they were working to resolve any issues and bring the matter to a conclusion. In short, through their hard work and persistence, the issues were resolved in a timely fashion and to the benefit of the estate and my peace of mind. I would highly recommend their services to any requiring help from a knowledgeable tax attorney.

Id like to extend my highest endorsement for the Law Office of James Wade. Like anyone who receives a letter from the IRS, its disconcerting. Not sure what to do, I wanted to find a reputable Tax lawyer for help. Thankfully, I got lucky by writing to Attorney James Wade. In a series of back and forth emails, his guidance, and most importantly, reassuring manner, let me know I made the right choice. He was matter of fact, supportive, and patient with all my questions and concerns. I appreciated his responsiveness most of all. Customer service is important to me. We have worked with James on an IRS issue that had been on-going since 2019. The IRS claimed we owed them more than we had paid in taxes on our Federal return. When we followed James's advice and filed an amended return, the IRS agreed with James position and we received a significant refund (enough to buy a good used car!). James is easy to work with and highly responsive. He is willing to answer emails and provide advice without always charging hourly fees. Highly recommend him and I will use him in the future if we ever have IRS issues again.
