Our waitress was extremely nice! I have many allergies and she did everything she could to accommodate my needs. We live local and its sad to see this restaurant go so far downhill. For a Saturday night at dinner time it was not as busy as I remember it being in the past and I think its due to the food quality. My turkey burger had something hard and chewy in it. I had to ask for my fries after my food came out and when it arrived there was hair in it. The rice in the burrito was hard and undercooked. Overall, friendly staff but the food quality was not acceptable.

Wow! GRITTY'S in Freeport IS BETTER!!!
I was happy since I had not been to Gritty's in a few years.
The French fries with the Fish and Chips (not nearly enough provided, but it was okay) were not only gross, but they were soggy, greasy, and tasted like old fryer oil. That was my only disappointment because...
My Husband's meal (Lamb Burger, delivered simultaneously) had COMPLETELY different FRIES, and THEY WERE FRESH, not soggy or greasy, and had NO fryer oil taste.
I have never understood why people put fries UNDER fish and chips.
Parking: They have a private parking lot.
