The Board Barn

Update - Unfortunately this place closed is doors for good. I'm sorry to see it go but I understand. It was good while it lasted. Original - This place is really terrific and I agree with the other reviews that the customer service here is Top Notch. I have always been treated respectfully and have been able to find what I need there. The board Barn has most all regular dimensional Lumber including a bunch of rough hewn boards as well. They have pressure treated and sheet items. However, don't expect this to be a Home Depot or a Lowe's. It is not. They stock horse and other feed. They have a decent assortment of screws and fastening devices in the office. They have many specialty Woods including large cuts of pine to be made into tables or bar tops. They have some hard to find things like quarter inch lath. What they don't have in stock they can usually get with a very short lead time. They also offer at a very reasonable price bags of wood that you can burn. One of the other reviewers had a bad experience with this but this is atypical and I'm really pressed to believe that that story wasn't embellished somewhat. Also, there are always going to be people who can't admit to their own mistakes and want to push the consequences of their own choices on to others. The Board Barn accepts all forms of payment including all of the major credit cards. I have shopped here at the board Barn for many years and will continue to shop there and WOOD (pun intended) suggest that others shop there as well.

Great place! Knowledgeable staff, their pine is amazing, and you're not going to be able to find lower prices anywhere. Highly recommend the Board Barn.
