The High Tide Inn

Adorable inn with beautiful views! Mark is a wonderful host and was very helpful. We loved staying here and would love to be back some day!

Absolutely loved our stay at the High Tide Inn! The Innkeepers were very warm and welcoming. Mark was especially accomodating. Our room was right next to the ocean, so we left our window cracked to hear the waves at night. Water pressure was good and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was made by the Innkeepers and served in the cute sunroom overlooking the beach. When I come back to the area I will definitely want to stay here again!

The staff was soooo accommodating and friendly -- and Mark, oh my gosh. He remembers everyone's name and greets you personaly every time he see you. Such a genuine, caring owner and you could feel his appreciation that we were staying at their Inn. The muffins and popovers were soo amazing and a wonderful complimentary offering in the morning to start the day. The views of the ocean are tremendous and this location, just a few miles from town, made it a great place to stay. The stars at night were tremendous.

Staying at High Tide feels like getting a warm hug from your grandmother. My daughter and I first visited in 2015, and we were immediately captivated by its vintage Maine charm. I took one of my all-time favorite photos of her on the property's beach at the start of her 4th grade school year. We recently returned to the inn at the start of her high school senior year. I took a similar photo of her on the property's beach, marveling at how fast time flew between these trips and how much she's changed. What hasn't changed, however, is the charm of the High Tide Inn. The new owners are just as kind and thoughtful as the first, and they go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. This isn't a swanky place, but it has character, it's clean, and we liked being a little removed from the hustle and bustle of Camden. The breakfast is simple but plentiful, and Mark's popovers and muffins are delightful. I know the owners are working on updating certain aspects of the rooms, and I think that will serve them well; but even as is, it was more than adequate for the price and priceless for the memories we continue making here.
