        We had the haddock chowder. It is absolutely delicious with a lot of haddock in it. Very impressed. My counterpart also had a very good hamburger with crispy, non- greasy fries. The service was excellent and the windows are open for a slight breeze, not many people inside so was comfortable eating in.

        It was a nice place to stop after a day of driving up the coast. The haddock chowder had at least half a pound of haddock. Strongly recommend the German potatoes. Next time you are in Calais, this is definitely a great place to eat.
