      image I was driving up for Bowdoin parents weekend and looking forward to my stay at The Daniel when I received a call that I would likely not have a room due to a furnace issue.
      What??!!!
      I booked 11 months ago and I received notice 1 hour before arriving. To make matters worse there were no reservations/provisions made elsewhere by management.
      I was subsequently promised one free night for a subsequent stay...this has not materialized.
      AVOID!
