We stayed in the Barn loft and it was so charming! It was nice and clean, the towels were thick and soft and the bed was extremely comfortable!! The price was very reasonable compared to other places too. We had bfast on the porch of the main house one morning and Maribeth packages up a warm to-go breakfast the next morning to get a jump start on Acadia. both were delicious. Maribeth was so wonderful and accomodating, i cant say enough great things about her. we arrived late the first night and had not had dinner yet. we did not realize the distance to restaurants or that they close so early and only had a grocery store to get food. when we returned with our snacks, she had packaged up a hot dinner and had it with drinks waiting in our room for us!!â¤

You would think a Michelin star chef works here. The food is off the charts as is the warm over the top service. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.

I don’t think our stay could have gone any better. Truly. The magical setting of Brooklin combined with the beautiful rooms we stayed in and the exemplary hosting from Maribeth, all combined to make a memorable stay at the Maine Hideaway. We felt so comfortable and cared for.
