I gave 4 star rating i lived at parish place for going on four years. The quality of building has in proved . less trouble secure building to live in . in the beginning i would had given it a four star i would have not been writing about the building at all big improvement from the time i moved in till now. i would recommend the place to friends.

This place is heaven and I compare it to staying at a luxurious resort. The amazing staff here is at your beckoning call as if waiting with bated breath. I would recommend this place to my best of friends and closest of family. I would recommend keeping this little jewel of biddeford to yourself for I believe many next generation pop cultured techies would want to scoop up a small piece of our heaven for themselves which in turn would skyrocket the price for renting such an affordable flat. I could of left and found another place but would you leave heaven to go to hell or even purgatory? ?? The front steps of this build is your STARR WA TO HEAVEN!....by the way I have a bridge for sale!

The building has great potential but it desperately needs a new property manager, the one that southern Maine affordable housing & Biddeford housing has had for the past several years, has done so much, they do not have a clue about The property manager admittedly creates drama with the tenants as if it is not hard enough to live life day by day she makes up lies and spreads them to start conflict and tension she literally thrives on it. She half fixes things when she does them at all. YES there is mold in the building, dangerous situations with stairs, smoking is not enforced to be outside, leaks are not fixed and are causing visible rotting in hallways and black mold is also visible,insect infestations are unreal with ants and other nasty crawling things also rodents are a huge issue. I along with others have told her on several occasions and she does nothing! Also as stated in the other review you do get treated badly if you ask or say anything even if it is legitimate. People who should not live here due to continuously breaking lease laws are allowed to stay. The lease is suppose to be followed by tenant and owner, and is not! When you try and call owner you get, call manager........ IT DOES NO GOOD! I strongly advise the owners of this building to take notice, please! This is a great location with tons of potential if you had a responsible manger, that was not busy allegedly sleeping with the tenants and causing so much drama that is so unnecessary! She has told me personal information about so many tenants it is sickening, probably untrue, but sickening, that she spends her time NOT doing her job. Also in the winter time the heat does not work properly, in some apartments it gets down into the 40's ! YES the 40's!!!! We are told we can not have a heater to make up for this illegal circumstance, while she sits all cozy and warm in her office with her electric heater! Something needs to be done, Please get a manager that is going to be responsible and professional and do their job. Again, you can continue to believe what she tells you, or you can be saved a law suit, and have a very nice building. At the very least check into it. She is destroying your historical building with irreparable damage, the gutters are all fallen off, I promise you if you do take the time to hire a inspector and look into this you will unfortunately be disappointed, but, it will save future issues. I strongly advise people to start calling local news stations and reporting the heat issues and all the other unfortunate and illegal things going on, due to her unprofessional and irresponsible person.It is our legal right to live in a safe, warm, up to legal standards, building. Record your conversations with her , I and a few others do And I will use this at the right time. This needs to stop, My family does not deserve to live in fear of losing their home because of the manager abusing her authority.
