It's exactly what I expected from a motel. Half the price of downtown area but still close enough to downtown to enjoy all of the sightseeing.

Very clean and plenty of space. We booked last minute when it was too rainy to set up camp and it was exactly what we needed! Plus it's close to a great lobster joint.

Stayed here during hurricane Lee for one night. We checked in, for 200$/night, and our TV didn't work. I told the front desk clerk and she said she'd come look. 40mins later we were heading to town and told her it's okay for her to look while we were out. We were gone for 3 hrs and come back, still broken and not even a note to indicate she came to look (I highly doubt she did). The bath drained so slow that within a few minutes of showering your feet are submerged, and when we woke up, the wifi was off. It's only 15minutes out of bar harbor but far enough to feel like you're out in the boonies.

Its all about expectations! This place is ideal for anyone going to visit Arcadia or nearby areas on a budget! Its nothing fancy or modern, there are drill holes in some walls and some rust in the tiles. BUT, its clean, smells pleasant, bed is decent with plenty of pillows, bathroom with plenty of towers/hot water,there is a fridge, microwave and decent sized tv, as well as a table for two with coffee maker available. They also have great customer service, as we came after 9pm (when office closes) and we were still able to pick up our key/check-in the next morning.
